What I am reading now
So I love to read. I really love to read. I think it is an escape for me, not sure if that is the right word .........makes it sound like I am trying to get out of jail. It is just pure enjoyment........ me time which most of us do not get enough of..........I know that I don't......I mean I cannot even shower or go to the bathroom without someone needing me. So reading is time for me to get away.........late night is always when I read.......no one is calling me on the phone, or asking me for this or that, dinner is over, everything taken care of...............peaceful.
I have always read historical christian fiction. I recently started MaryLu Tyndall's latest release : Veil of Pearls. I am REALLY enjoying it. For me it has been a book I just don't want to put down..........I was fighting sleep at about 4 am trying to read more...but my eyes wouldn't hold up. I don't know how it ends or what happens to the main character...............so I am looking forward to reading tonight. You should check it out if you enjoy reading historical fiction.
It is set in Charleston in 1811.......I hate when reviews tell the story...it kind of ruins it for me.....I will say it involves slavery, rich family, doctors, high society, loving family, orphans and more........give it a try. I know you can download the eBook as well at Christianbook.com and other websites I am sure
